This guide is in a way a dynamic version of the rubiks.com ebook, feel free to consult it.

Solve The Top Layer

First And Second Corner

Begin by holding your 2X2 Rubik's Cube so the white tile with the rubiky logo is facing the ceilling like this

Action 1

First, find the corner that has a white tile, a blue tile, and an orange tile

1 - If your Rubik's Mini look like this, the second corner is placed

2 - If it is on the top layer, hold your 2X2 Rubik's Cube to match one of the case bellow

Then follow the Algorithm" to move the white-blue-orange corner from the top layer to the bottom layer: R' D' R.

0 / 3
or
0 / 3
or
0 / 3

Action 2

Now hold your 2X2 Rubik's Cube so the white tile with the rubiky logo is facing the ceilling and the white-blue-red corner is on the left like this

Then twist the DOWN face (D) until your Rubik's Mini match one of the case bellow and execute the Algorithm" :

0 / 1
Algorithm: R
or
0 / 3
Algorithm: R' D' R
or
0 / 3
Algorithm: D R2

congratulation , you have completed the second corner

Third Corner

Begin by holding your rubki's mini so the white-blue-orange corner is on the left like this:

action 1

Find the corner that has a white tile, a green tile and an orange tile

1 - If your Rubik's Mini look like this, the third corner is placed correctly, continue to solving the Fourth Coner

2 - If it is in the top layer, hold your 2X2 Rubik's Cube to match one of the following situations:

0 / 1
Run R then, continue to solving the Fourth Coner
or
0 / 2
Run R D' then, go to Action 2
or
0 / 2
Run R D' then, go to Action 2
or
0 / 3
Run R2 D' then, go to Action 2
or
0 / 3
Run R2 D' then, go to Action 2

Action 2

With the White-Gree-Orange corner in the Bottom layer, twist the DOWN face (D) until your Rubik's Mini matches one of the scenes bellow and execute the Algorithm":

0 / 1
Algorithm: R
or
0 / 3
Algorithm: R' D' R
or
0 / 3
Algorithm: D R R

congratulation, you have solved the thrid corner.

Fourth Corner

Begin by holding your 2X2 Rubik's Cube so the white-green-orange corner is on the left like this

Then find the corner piece that has a white tile, a green tile and a red tile.

1 - If your Rubik's Mini looks like this, the fourth corner is placed correctly

2 - If it is in the top layer, hold your Rubik's Mini to match the scenes bellow and execute the Algorithm" R' D' R to move the White-Green-Red corner to the Bottom layer.

0 / 3
or
0 / 3

3 - With the White-Green-Red corner in the Bbottom layer, twist the DOWN face (D) until your 2X2 Rubik's Cube matches one of the following scenes:

0 / 5
Run F D' F' D2, then continue to the next scene
or
0 / 4
Run D' R' D R
or
0 / 3
Run R' D' R

congratulation, y've solved the top layer.

Solve The Bottom Layer

Make The Yellow Face

Begin by holding your Rubik's Mini so the white face is on the bottom layer

If you have all the yellow tiles of your rubi's mini in the up face, jump to place the yellow corners correctly

Else, match up the up face in one of the cases bellow and then execute this Algorithm": R U R' U R U2 R'.

0 / 8
or
0 / 8
or
0 / 8
or
0 / 8
or
0 / 8

If you do not have all of your yellow tiles in the up face, rematch your 2X2 Rubik's Cube to one of the previous cases and repeat the Algorithm". You may need to do this two or three times.

Place The Yellow Corners Correctly

Begin by holding your 2X2 Rubik's Cube with Yellow tiles on the top face.

Twist the top layer (U) until the colored tiles of at least two corners math the bottom layer.

If all the top layer's colored tiles match the bottom layer, your Rubik's Mini is solved!

Else, then hold your Rubik's Mini so it matches one of the following scenes and execute this Algorithm" R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2 U'.

0 / 13
or
0 / 13
or
0 / 13
or
0 / 13
or
0 / 13
or
0 / 13

If your Rubik's Mini is not solved, you need to repeat this step until it does.

Congratulation, your have solved the 2X2 Rubik's Cube.
